Sany Has Patented An Electric Pickup Truck With A Menacing Futuristic Design

Last year, the Sany Group generated $2.2 billion in revenue, according to Forbes, and the maker of excavators, cranes and construction trucks has enough cash to launch its first electric vehicle. And now there are pictures of it.
The pictures are taken from the patent for this same electric car. The application was submitted by Hunan Xingbida Network Technology, a subsidiary of the Sany Group, which will be engaged in the production of electric vehicles. As well as relevant components and accessories – chargers, traction batteries, etc. Hunan Xingbida Network Technology was founded in 2019, so the company had time to create its first electric car.
The company’s first electric car will be a pickup truck, which is not surprising given the profile of the Sany Group. It is not surprising that the inscription Sany flaunts on the radiator grill – after all, this is already a well-known brand in the country, unlike Hunan Xingbida Network Technology.
The design of the pickup truck is brutal, probably, it can even give odds to the Tesla Cybertruck. The cargo platform is small, so such a car is unlikely to be designed to carry large loads. And the shape of the cargo compartment is somewhat reminiscent of the shape of the first generation Honda Ridgeline.
